Hebridean Art
Hebridean textile weavings in sets of three including Gorse, Grass and Heather, Seaweed, Sand and Sea, and Peat, Stone and Straw.....all inspired by the culture and landscapes of the Outer Hebrides including the Isles of Lewis, Harris, Berneray and the Uists
Weavings are also made out of seaweed and wild grasses
Seaweed is printed onto paper rolls and exhibited above the fireplace of an old blackhouse, now one of the Gatliff Trust hostels on the Isle of Berneray
Bootlace seaweed is plaited into cord and positioned in the landscape
Stone cairns join other installations on a beach at Gearrannan on Lewis
